Working from home with an MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) company is a great introduction into both owning a business and learning marketing and sales.  Most companies offer top notch training and provide endless amounts of marketing materials and content.

Personally, I love the MLM business model.  Contrary to the naysayers, MLM’s are not pyramid scams.  They are business models that allow you to benefit from the time and energy you put into recruiting and training leaders – aka your down-line.

I planned to write a nice post about how to evaluate a MLM you’re interested in, but in my research I found this great article that covers everything I wanted to say and more.  Click Here to read How To Evaluate MLM companies.

Generic training for MLM’s can be a bit overwhelming.  One of my favorite resources is Networking Times.  Not only do they offer lots of great insights and training (networking university) from experts in the field but they are also keeping you up to date on all the new marketing techniques as well as providing regular motivation.

Joining an MLM is bigger than your company.  It’s a network of professionals looking to discourage negative marketing tactics and expand on the positive opportunities available through this business model.
