Yes we let the set dry overnight before baking them which may have been pure laziness on my part.

I’m so glad I found this website. We too have this tea set and when we opened the box there were no instructions inside. I am assuming the paint needs to dry before baking. Thanks again for having the answer.

Hi Tami,

Thinking that I had lost the directions to the World Market Paint My Own Tea Set I set out to look for an answer online. I came across your website. Later that day I found the directions under a stack of papers. I just thought you might like to know that the baking instructions are 25 min at 300. I’m not really sure that baking them at a slightly higher temp would really mater but I thought I’d be nice and pass on my info.

Thanks Candy! This is a fantastic idea. It reminds me of a board my chiropractor had in his office listing all the customers bringing in referrals. Maybe I’m a bit of an overachiever but I always enjoyed seeing my name up there.
